About Kimberley Csihas
Kimberley Csihas is a self-taught artist with a pure love of oil paints. Inspired by her great-grandfather, Imre Von Mosdossy, and renowned artists Van Gogh, Monet and Emily Carr. Her artwork blends impressionism and expressionism beautifully, embracing vibrant hues and flurrid brushstrokes. Being bipolar and a massive stroke survivor; her artwork has become her therapy. And as she recovers and perseveres her artwork flourishes with practice. She captures the intense experiences of her bipolar brain by exploring the pallet of life and her vivid dreams. Kimberley finds herself completely immersed and trapped in her oil paintings and encourages you to join her. Kimberley is a member of Peggy’s Cove Area Festival of the Arts and is studio #27 on The Peggy's Cove Studio Tour 2025 from Friday July 18 - Sunday July 20, 2025. Kimberley's studio, Birchtree Gallery, is in Brookside Nova Scotia and is open Friday's 1-4
